The purpose of the work - the production technology reprocessing of corundum catalyst carrier for processes of steam methane conversion. Methods of research - chemical, petrographic, spectral, physic mechanical, mercury porometry. The researches, directed to improvement of moulding properties of alumina mass, were carried out. The optimal values of humidity and plastic strength were determined, the moldability of alumina mass was evaluated. The dispersant addition influence, as well as starch ether influence - stiffener - on the moldability of alumina mass and catalyst carrier properties was researched. It is determined, that the starch ether addition positively effects on mass moldability. The binder for catalyst carrier moulding on basis of pure alumina CL 2500 SG in the form of МЦ solution and powder binder was picked up. The technological parameters of corundum catalyst carrier production, with use as Ca-containing component - slack lime and high alumina cement were reprocessed. It is established, that slack lime addition in amount of 1% (on CaO) provides catalyst carrier water absorption at the level of 22-24% when the strength is more than 45 MPa. The trial lots of catalyst carrier with Ca-containing addition in the form of slack lime and high alumina cement were produced. Micropore size distribution researches were carried out. The trial lots of corundum catalyst carrier of КНКК grade with properties factors according to ТУ were manufactured ant put out.
