The purpose of the work - the production technology mastering of new type sizes refractories for glass and glass products production. Methods of research - chemical, physico-mechanical, petrographic, spectral. The production technology of mullitecorundum big-volume and exceptionally complex products for glass furnaces feeder by means of vibrocasting 11 new type sizes was mastered: cup, floor stabs, piston, nibs, burning stone and cup insert - the constructions were developed; forms for vibrocasting were produced; charges grain compositions were picked up; drying and firing procedures of big-volume multimoulded products were worked through. The researches of mullitecorundum burning stone, produced in OJSC "The Ukrainian research institute of refractories named after A. S. Berezhnoy", and served out in glass furnace for 3,5 years were performed. The wear mechanism of refractory was determined. The trial lots of mullitecorundum vibrocast refractories for glass furnaces feeders as well as mullitecorundum pressed refractories for top structure of glass furnaces were produced. The trial mullitecorundum products, which were sent to 16 glass enterprises of Ukraine, completely satisfy the demands of service conditions.
