The purpose of the work - the technology improvement of corundum ceramics with ZrO2 addition, expansion of its application areas and output of pilot lots of corundum ceramics products with ZrO2, МgО and ТiO2 addition. Methods of research: chemical, spectral, petrographic and phase analyses, рН definition with use of pH instrument рН 673, rheological properties definition using Bruckfilled digital fluidimeter LVDV-II+ Рrо, measurement of particle size distribution using Microsizer 201 laser analyzer of particle size, standard determination techniques of open porosity, apparent density and tightness. Researches on technology reprocessing of corundum ceramics with ZrO2 addition were carried out, and pilot lots of products with ZrO2, МgО and ТiO2 addition were let out. The pilot lot of alumina, impregnated with a water solution of salt ZrOCl2 8H2O with the following firing at temperature 1400 °С was produced. It is established, that the grinding in corundum ball mill with application of ГКЖ 11-H addition, triethanolamine in amount of 0,05 and 0,1 %, as well as dispersive additions АDS 1 and ADW 1 and their mix in the ratio 1:1 in amount of 1 % (over 100 %) allows to increase the content of active to sintering particles <2 microns in the grinded material more, than by 20 % in comparison with alumina, grinded without ПАВ application. It is shown, that application as electrolyte of a hydrochloric acid allows to receive slurry from alumina grinded with ПАВ additions, with rheological properties, providing the density reception of the green not less than 2,80 g/sm3. Properties of samples after firing meet the requirements of ТУУ 26.2-00190503-250-2004 "High refractory corundum extradense products with ZrO2 addition". Pilot lots were produced and 28 types of products from corundum ceramics with МgО, ZrO2 and ТiO2 addition of КОПМ, КОПМТ, КОПЦ-5, КОЩ and КСВП grades were transferred to the customer. The work should be continued towards study of microstructure, thermal stability and bending strength of ceramics, produced on the basis of alumina, impregnated with the water solution of salt ZrOCl2 8H2O, fired at temperature 1400 °С and grinded in corundum ball mill with application of investigated ПАВ, as well as towards expansion of application areas of products from corundum ceramics.
