The most "aggressive" components of air are oxygen. Therefore influence of oxygen on electric properties of these crystals has been investigated. The aim of the work is to obtain and analyze the experimental results about the defect structure of CdxZn1-xTe surface subjected to aging at air and oxygen environment depending on the storage temperature. Method of investigation is to study the physical properties and to carry out the statistical analysis of the electric characteristics of CdxZn1-xTe crystals stored in oxygen and in air at temperature of 300-400 К. The storage of samples in oxygen leads to rather significant increase of their resistance and to the change of CdxZn1-xTe defect levels spectrum.
