There also has been calculated an optimum weight of the freight trains accordantly to a task. In the process of the work execution, the method of calculation of the optimum weight of the freight trains is developed. This method allows to consider local terms (type of track and track development of the stations) and volumes of freight train flows. There has been executed analysis of the freight flows and trains on the Crimea management, and, using the method of optimization of weight of the freight trains. There also has been given the definite recommendations in relation to the train scheduling in the areas of the management, the observance of which will allow c to improve the operating indexes of their work considerably.
