Head Getman Evgenij Ivanovich, Registration Date 16-04-2007 Organization Donetsk National University popup.description2 The REE substitution for Ca in Ca3-xMex (VO4)3 (OH)1-xOx (Me = La, Nd, Gd) synthetic hydroxyapatite at 700 – 1000oC has been stud-ied by means of X-ray powder diffraction, Rietveld structure refine-ment and IR – spectroscopy. It was established, that at 800оС solid solutions are formed in the range of x ?0,65 for Me = La; x ? 0,35 for Me = Nd and x ?,3 for Me = Gd in the system under study. At higher values of "x" the systems contain Ca3(VO4)2, REE oxide and an uni-dentified phase. Intensity of the stretching vibrations bands on IR-spectrum decreases as the values of "x" increases in the homogeneous ranges.
