Objective: Choice and working off of vacuum - plasma methods of reception nanolayered composite coatings. Investigation method: Experimental researches of nanocoatings with various structure formation methods at vacuum arc deposition. The carried out analysis of possible circuits of formation nanolayered coatings by vacuum - plasma methods on the basis of which requirements to control system and to the data acquisition system of the vacuum - plasma equipment making possible controlled formations of nanolayered coatings are formulated. According to requirements to which the equipment for deposition nanolayered coatings should answer was carried out modernization of the available vacuum - arc equipment (installation such as "Bulat - 6"), in particular, sources of deposition, was created a control system and the acquisition system of work installation over application of microprocessor technical equipment which provides automatic control mode by deposition sources, bias potential, system напуска two gases with through synchronization in time and ) resolvability less than 0,1 sec. At the same level, i.e. with the period 0,1 sec, the acquisition system provides the control of parameters of process of coatings deposition and processing of the current data. Modernization of deposition sources was carried out also due to introduction to its design a separator which allows to remove a droplet component from an atomic stream of a vacuum - arc source. Researches on the definition of an separating devices overall performance of the modernized deposition sources and parameters of their work were carried out. The executed complex of works and researches has allowed to fulfil methods of reception nanolayered composite coatings of various structure under several possible circuits of their formation. R&D results are used in technological development and the further researches directed on creation new functional nanostructured materials and methods of their formation. Predictive assumptions concerning development of researching object - optimization of processes of reception nanocoatings with prescribed set of characteristics formation process optimization.
