On the basis of the inspection results the recommendations and a complex of measures were developed for selection of rational operation of battery №2-bis, allowing the minimal possible coefficient of air excess and rational consumption of fuel gas when starting up afar airmails treatment and heat utilization of flue gases. The sealing of nozzle channels and visible areas of air leakage in the area of air valves allowed the reduction the coefficient of air excess and a decrease of contaminating substances in flue gases/ For an increase of efficiency of the unit it is recommended to decrease the coefficients of air excess in the ducts and to eliminate dissipated leakages of air in the common smoke duct and in the duct on the sides of the battery, here practically all flue gases will be treated in the unit.
