In accordance with the purpose of the work the JSC "Donetskkoks" was technologically and analytically inspected including working conditions, state of equipment, composition of coke oven gas before and after gas coolers, and cooling tower, etc. On the basis of the results a principle flow sheet and operation conditions were the developed for closed cooling cycle, the characteristics of the equipment, consumption rates and heating parameters, were given. Technical suggestions were given to the customer for designing of the closing final cooling cycle cleaning coke oven gas from naphthalene and tarry substances utilization of hydrogen cyanide, and spent solution of the vacuum-carbonate sulphur removal.
