Development purpose is theoretical foundation of physical and chemical processes of formation of high-quality zones connection when alloying metals and alloys with electroslag technology. Tests were carried out with metallographic, crystal optics, X-ray methods. Dependences of influence of physical and chemical processes and technological parametres on quality of alloying zones with electroslag surface building-up are received. The mechanism of formation of nonmetallic inclusions in the alloying zone is offered. The contribution of nonmetallic inclusions and structure in formation of physicomechanical properties of metal in alloying zones is estimated. Use of research results: "Ukrzaliznytsya", co.
