The purpose of the work is mastering the improved refractory production technology from fused monoclinic ZrO2. The research methods are chemical, determination methods of physical-mechanical properties indices of laboratory samples and refractory products. The improved refractory production technology from fused monoclinic ZrO2 with combined addition of silici- and aluminiferous components has been mastered, it allowed to broaden the source of raw materials for refractory production from fused monoclinic ZrO2. The pilot product samples in the form of a sector from fused monoclinic ZrO2 with combined addition characterized by high properties rate: open porosity 13,2 %, mass fraction ZrO2 + HfO2 91,6%; Al2O3 3,0%; SiO2 3,4 %, which corresponds to the requirements of ТУ У 26.2-00190503-285:2006 for the products of ЦЦГ have been produced in OJSC "The Ukrainian research institute of refractories named after A.S. Berezhnoy". The pilot product batches in the form of a sector or a slab have been produced from fused monoclinic and fused stabilized zirconium oxide in OJSC "The Ukrainian research institute of refractories named after A.S. Berezhnoy". The produced products correspond to the requirements ТУ У 26.2-00190503-285:2006 according to their properties. The products have been dispatched to their customers. The work shall be continued in the line of further improvement of production technology of refractories from fused monoclinic zirconium oxide.
