The purpose of the work is production technology reprocessing of ramming mullite corundum masses. The research methods are physico-chemical, petrographic, thermal mechanical ones.The influence of chromic oxide addition amount on ramming mullite corundum masses properties have been researched. As a result of carried out researches the production technology of the new product type - mullite corundum masses of ММКХ containing chromic oxide addition which is characterized by heightened slag resistance ( ~ 9 times more) in comparison with the mass of ММК -88. The pilot batches of the developed mass have been successfully tested in "PIKS" mixers lining of CJSC "Rovno foundry". The influence of grain composition on dry mullite corundum mass properties with periclase addition in boron phosphate bunch of ММКПБФ has been researched. The expediency of decreasing fine constituent content in the composition of the indicated mass has been shown, since for all that dust release while carrying out lining operations decreases and samples properties indices produced out of the mass remain at a quite high level. The pilot batches of the mass of ММКПБФ of the improved grain composition with positive results have been tested while carrying out the lining of induction crucible furnace of ferroaluminum alloys of LLC "Donetsk ferroalloy plant". The comparative researches of the influence of binding agent type and amount ( of orthophosphoric acid, bore phosphate bunch, BUDAPUR-15 and LITHOPIX-P9 phosphate bunches) on mullite corundum masses properties of ММК-88, ММКБФ, ММКШБФ and ММКПБФ have been carried out. It has been established that BUDAPUR-15 bunch use along with boric acid allows to increase the strength properties of the samples produced from the masses of ММКБФ and ММКШБФ by a factor of 1,2 - 2,5 in the researched temperature range. But taking into account the high price of BUDAPUR-15 bunch and the necessity of purchasing it abroad it is more expedient to use the composite bore phosphate binding agent including tripolyphosphate for production of the indicated ramming masses. The application for the proposed invention for ramming mullite corundum masses composition with chromic oxide addition has been submitted. Under the conditions of OJSC "The Ukrainian research institute of refractories named after A.S. Berezhnoy" the production technologies of ramming mullite corundum masses: ММКХ containing chromic oxide addition and ММКПБФ (with periclase addition in boron phosphate bunch) of the improved grain composition have been mastered, besides the pilot batches of mullite corundum masses of different grades dispatched to metallurgical and engineering enterprises of Ukraine have been produced.
