The purpose of the work is production technology improvement of refractory alumosilicate concrete mixes. The research methods are thermal and physical mechanical, chemical ones. The influence of different correlation between fire clay and normal corundum on properties of mullite corundum refractory concretes as well as the influence of additions of ТПФН on properties of mullite corundum concrete has been studied. The optimum correlation of fire clay and normal corundum has been determined. It has been shown that the additions of ТПФН are effective while using high-aluminous cement of ВГЦ-73 as a binding agent since they provide decrease in open porosity, increase in apparent density at the same time preserving strength indices. It has been shown that the use of cement of GORCAL 70 allows widening the source of raw materials. The influence of fine aluminous addition on heat-insulating fire clay concrete properties has been studied. The heat-insulating fire clay concrete composition which allows increasing concrete refractoriness up to 1630оС, decreasing thermal conductance up to 0,75 watt/(м К) at the same time preserving sufficiently high ultimate compression strength both before thermal processing and after it has been determined. The pilot batches of heat-insulating concrete mix which are dispatched to the customers and are in the stage of testing in tuyere apparatuses of blast furnaces have been produced. In accordance with normative documentation the pilot batches of dry alumosilicate concrete mixes have been produced in OJSC "The Ukrainian research institute of refractories named after A.S. Berezhnoy" under the conditions of the pilot production and have been dispatched to the customer. The work shall be continued in the line of production technology improvement of alumosilicate concrete mixes with the purpose of production reduction in price and in the line of carrying out industrial tests of refractory fire clay heat-insulating mixes in linings of heat aggregates.
