The purpose of the work is production technology reprocessing of exceptionally complex silicon carbide products on alumina silicate bunch. Physical-mechanical, chemical, petrographic methods of analyses have been used while completing this work. The production technology of exceptionally complex vibrocast silicon carbide products on alumina silicate bunch has been improved. The possibility of replacement of reactive alumina of CTC-40 for vibroground alumina of ГК-2 which allows the maximum flowability of large grain silicon carbide thixotropic masses without product properties indices deterioration which allows to broaden the source of raw materials while production of exceptionally complex silicon carbide products on alumina silicate bunch has been shown. The influence of water-reducing admixture type on vibrocast masses properties has been researched. It has been determined that the addition "Castament" increases flowability index value for all masses being researched. Its application allows to broaden the source of raw materials for production of refractories of the given grade. The production technology of silicon carbide products on alumina silicate bunch by method of semidry molding has been completed. The researches on temporary binding agent selection have been carried out. It has been determined that the use of argillaceous slurry allows to produce products with higher properties indices. The pilot batches of silicon carbide products on alumina silicate bunch according to ТУ У 26.2-00190503-225-2002 with alteration № 1 have been produced. The work shall be continued in the line of production technology improvement of silicon carbide products on alumina silicate bunch and mastering new types and sizes of building elements by methods of semidry molding, vibrocasting and broaching.
