Karazin popup.description2 Object of studies: Ge-Bi-Ge layered film systems. Objectives: experimental investigations of the supercooling under crystallization value of liquid Bi phase between Ge films. Methods: the films were prepared by means of subsequent condensation in vacuum. Structure and properties of the films have been studied with X-ray diffraction, electron microscopy and measuring electrical resistance methods. Bi films lay between Ge films have been selected as the objects under study. Such system has an eutectic type phase diagram with components that are almost immiscible in solid state. New method for determination of temperatures of phase transitions from changes of electrical resistance of the system during heating - cooling cycles has been used among the well developed electron microscopy and X-ray diffracting technique. New data on the supercooling under crystallization values of Bi in contact with polycrystalline Ge have been obtained. The efficiency of employment of layered film systems for studying of phase transition "liquid-crystal" has been shown. The main results have been received for the first time. They are important for understanding of the physics of nanosized systems and for wide application of nanoobjects in modern technologies.
