The main aim of the work - increasing the sensitivity of the flame atomic absorption determination of zinc, ferrum and manganese by means of chemical modification Method of investigation - atomic absorption spectroscopy with C-115-M1 spectrometer. The systematic investigation of the nature and concentration of surface active compounds on the analytical signal was conducted with the aim of increasing the sensitivity at the determination of zinc, ferrum and manganese. The obtained data were systematized and the special comparison tables were built. The peculiarities of the surface active dopands onto the analytical signal at atomic absorption detection of zinc, ferrum and manganese using the flame of propane - butane - air were revealed. The possibility of the analytical application of the latter flame type is shown together with the traditionally used flame ofacetylene - air type. The sodium dodecylbenzosulphonate was shown as the most effective sensitivity increasing dopand for the determination of manganese and ferrum, while as sodium dodecilsulphate was the most favorable dopand at the detection of zinc.
