Aim of the work is to develop new analytical methods for analysis propagation impulse signals in different transmission lines, experimental research new impulse radiators developed and optimized at the first point of this work. The method of studying: in this work the strict mode basis method being based on project-ing of the Maxwell equations to the independent of the frequency basis, that have been obtained from the solution of the boundary problem for transverse coordinates, was used for modeling and investi-gating nonstationary electrodynamics processes. On the first point of the work the superposition prin-ciple was used for solution problem of the impulse radiation of the aperture by the decomposition aperture method. On the second point of the work the experimental researching of the impulse radia-tors was made. The new symmetrical junction was used to improve characteristics of the tapered slot antennas. The formalism of the normalized impulse response was used to process the results of the antennas researching. Measuring spectra was processed with using the spectrum extrapola-tion method based on the linear prediction algorithm (Proni method) and on the fast algorithm optimization proposed by Vovk on the basis of the Tartakovskiy-Gershberg-Papulis algorithm. The further development of the considered subject can be the optimization of the di-electric lens shape to ensure the better substrate agreement with free space or the probing me-dium and further junction optimization to ensure more symmetry antenna excitation. Measured experimental antenna characteristics allow creating the realistic mathematical models of the complex undersurface radar system on the basis of such antennas. Processed researching propa-gation nonstationary signals method in inhomogeneous waveguides can be used to process nu-merical algorithms and program complexes to solve complex broadband diffraction problems.
