Karazin popup.description2 An object under exploration is the dose field, which has been formed by different mancaused sources first of all in atomic power plants. Radiation effect of those fields is mainly formed by a design of biologic shield which the sources are equipped with. A simulation of a protective ability of such a special facilities directed to decrease of dose load of personnel, the environment and population serves as a basis for the improvement of any constructions and engineering decisions. If one calculates an attenuation of exposition dose, he, as a rule, comes into collision with two problems: a correct description of geometrical characteristics of the task and the heavy computational burden when the attenuation factor is so great. In this connection, an aim of a present work is an adaptation of wide-world codes for radiation transport simulation to the real present-day problems of nuclear power plants. This adaptation anticipates a computation time reducing on account for both some special procedures and a simplification the task geometry. For the results verification an experimental data will be applied which would be obtained on a special facility for gamma spectrum forming from bremsstrahlung beam. On the first stage of the work the opportunities were studied for simulation acceleration of outside radiation behind a thick layer of a cask shied filled with spent nuclear fuel.
