The model was proposed, which shows the bond of atomic hydrogen with complex defects in n-CdTe and p-ZnTe. As was shown the hydrogen interaction with complex defects causes their decomposition and passivation of one of the components. It was found that donors are passivated in the CdTe:Al samples whereas acceptor are passivated in p-type ZnTe, which results in the electric activity of the non-passivated component. It is verified by photoluminescence at 5 К and conclusions derived from temperature dependences of electroconductivity. Semiconductor physics.
