Several phototrophic sulfur bacteria were enriched, isolated and identified. The basic groups of the microorganisms occupying investigated reservoirs was determined. The qualitative and quantitative structure of the basic photosynthetic pigments of purple and green sulfur bacteria and ability of assimilation of some organic compounds by this bacteria was investigated.
