Object of research - electromagnetic fields, diffraction phenomena, processes of excitation, radiation and scattering of electromagnetic fields by impedance dipole, waveguide-slot structures of various geometrical sizes in the material medium . The purpose of research - the further development of the theory of linear magnetic and electric radiators of the microwave and millimetric waves region with arbitrary geometrical parameters, development of rigorous physical and mathematical models of such radiators, which are highly effective techniques concerning accuracy and speed of calculation and they allow to carry out the numerical modelling and optimization of electrodynamic characteristics of radiators and their systems in a wide range of change of parameters including surface impedance, detection of new physical phenomena, properties, features and laws of forming of an electromagnetic field by electric and magnetic radiators and their systems located in free space or in the multilayered material medium with the losses Methods of research - theoretical investigations, computer analysis and modern methods of numerical simulations. The excitation and radiation problems of electrically long narrow slot as well as the system of longitudinal and transverse slot radiators located in a wide wall of a rectangular waveguide, which radiates in the material medium with losses are solved. The system consisting of 16 transverse half-wave slots and two long slots cut in a wide wall of rectangular waveguide is numerically investigated. The amplitude distributions of the electric field in the aperture of a slot grate at the radiation in the material medium , which fit the electrophysical parameters of a human skin, are found. By the method of computer simulation the power factors of the longitudinal slot cut in wide wall П - shaped waveguide and slot radiators of arbitrary length cut in single mode and multimode circular waveguide are studied. The approached analytical decision of the problem of scattering of electromagnetic waves by thin impedance vibrators of variable radius of cross-section is obtained. The electrodynamics characteristics of such antennas are investigated. The algorithm and computer programs for calculation of radiation pattern, directivity factor and scattering coefficient of linear equispaced antenna grate are developed at arbitrary distances between radiators.
