Object of study - patients with inflammatory and precancerous states of cervix uteri (smears of cervix uteri and cervical canal, cytological preparations). The aim - to develop scientifical systematic measures directed on elevation of the efficacy of cytologic diagnostic of precancerous state and cancer of cervix uteri. The use of cytologic and cytogenetic methods of study allowed to reveal an increase of the number of active nucleolonemic and transitional nucleolonemic nucleoli in nuclei of squamous epithelial cells of cervix uteri with signs of dysplasia. That fact points on essential increase of nucleoprotein exchange what is typical for malignant process. It has been shown that along with appearance and development of dysplasia signs in population of cells of cylindrical epithelium the total number of active morphofunctional types of nucleoli increases, what objectives cytomorphological signs and evidences on increased proliferation of cells. The work is oriented on specialists interested in cytologic diagnosis of cervix uteri pathologies. The program may be used for thematic improvement of doctors by data subject. The investigation represents an initial first stage of knowledge of biological process of malignancy of epithelium of cervix uteri by means of cytogenetic method at cellular level, and should be continued by study of various stages of dysplasia and cancer of cervix uteri for definition of subcellular features of precancerous states.
