Head Savina L., Registration Date 24-02-2010 Organization The open joint stock company " The Ukrainian research institute of refractories named A.S.Berezhnoy" popup.description2 The research subject is corundum on sialoncontaining binding, silicon carbide on aluminum binding and aluminum silicate with additive silicon carbide refractories.The purpose of the work is production technology reprocessing of corundum on sialoncontaining binding, silicon carbide on aluminum binding and aluminum silicate with additive silicon carbide refractory products. The research methods are physical and mechanical, chemical and petrographic ones. The influence of corundum type (brawn corundum produced by OJSC "Zaporozhabraziv", tabular alumina brand of "T-60" produced by company "Almatis", electrofused corundum produced by OJSC "The Ukrainian research institute of refractories named after A.S. Berezhnoy") on the properties of corundum refractories on sialoncontaining binding. It has been shown that electrofused corundum produced by OJSC "The Ukrainian research institute of refractories named after A.S. Berezhnoy" can be used as filler for the manufacture of corundum refractories on sialoncontaining binding. Refractory product with open porosity 15.8 %, apparent density 2.83 g/cm3 and compressive strength 130 MPa has been received.The comparison researches of the influence of silicon carbide brand of "C-54" and regenerated silicon carbide on the properties of silicon carbide refractories on aluminum binding have been carried out. It has been shown that the content of the regenerated silicon carbide in the composition of refractory material should not exceed 5 %. The optimum firing temperature (1330°C) of refractories containing regenerated silicon carbide has been determined.The comparison researches of the properties of aluminum silicate refractory products with additive silicon carbide brand of "C-54" and regenerated silicon carbide have been carried out. It has been shown the possibility of application of regenerated silicon carbide instead silicon carbide brand of "C-54" in the manufacture of the indicated refractory products. It has been determined that the optimum amount of regenerated silicon carbide additive is 12 %. The properties of pilot sample of the indicated refractory are: open porosity - 16.1 %, apparent density - 2.84 g/cm3, compressive strength - 83 MPa.As a result of caring researches, the raw materials base for manufacture of corundum on sialoncontaining binding and aluminum silicate with additive silicon carbide refractories has been expanded.The pilot batches of silicon carbide refractory products brand of "ККГП" and "ККНКВ", which are intended to customers, have been produced.The work shall be continued in the line of further improvement of production technology of corundum on sialoncontaining binding, silicon carbide refractories and expanding of their application volume.
