Two independent techniques of an estimation of quantity of rare gases in waste mixtures of the ammonia plants are designed. The analysis of calculations has shown, that the main source of helium going at a contour of ammonia synthesis is the natural gas, instead of free air. On the basis of the conducted researches is shown, that a unique way of complex processing of mixtures with obtaining of concentrates of light rare gases and pure Hydrogen is the cryogenic process engineering. And in view of a structure of multicomponent mixtures for their separation it is required from 3-rd up to 5-th of stages depending on quantity of by-products. It is detected, that the unit of preliminary separation is the important constituent of the cryogenic unit of helium and Hydrogen obtaining. Usage for primary separation of phase separators or reflux condensers results in transition of mild rare gases and considerable proportion H2 in a pool nitrogen-methane fraction and considerable losses of main products. It is proved, that optimal process for separation is the purification in a column with the supplementary condenser with temperature no more than 70 K.
