In geterophase processes oxidation takes place in surfactant micells, oil droplets and on the interface, so the inhibition efficiency depends on colloidal-chemical factors, localization of phenol, its dissociation and hydratation. The role of the processes with participation of oxygen active forms, appearing in water during the thermal activation, is thus substantial. It is set the ability of phenols directly to react with peroxy compounds in a water phase, and also of o-polyphenols derivatives to carry out the antioxidant-complexon function.
