Research Goal: to figure out the state and dynamics of the prestige of speaking Ukrainian, to determine the main psychological pre-conditions that provide the expansion of Ukrainian language use among students in different regions of Ukraine. Research Method: theoretical analysis and generalizations, expert evaluations, the psycho-semantic questionings, focus-groups, socio-psychological training, methods of mathematical statistics. The monitoring of the prestige of the Ukraine-speaking contacts among the students in the different regions of Ukraine was continued. The program was elaborated and focus-group setting with the students was carried out. The methodic recommendations to reveal personal and inter-personal grounds for rising of prestige of Ukrainian-language contacts among the students were prepared.
