The goal of the present work was obtaining of transparent glassy epoxy-silica composites using the sol-gel method to form nanofiller and anhydride curing or cationic polymerization of epoxy component, investigation of thermooxidative resistance of the materials obtained. The hybrid polymer materials based on epoxy resin EPONEX 1510, tetraethoxysilane and 3-glycidoxypropyltriethoxysilane were synthesized. Thermooxidative resistance parameters of the composites with different silica content were determined by derivatography, high-temperature oxidation and isothermal ageing. It was shown that oxidation rate and mass loss rate in isothermal and non-isothermal conditions are in non-linear dependance with silica content, and it also depends on curing method and catalyst used.
