A research purpose is preparation of the method for experts-art critics and the workers of judicial-investigative authority: development and improvement of methodical bases of assignment and execution of judicial-expert study of art research of pornographic nature. Research methods - in the process of development the set of the research methods of the modern theory of knowledge and scientific methods which are based on them is used. Theoretical and practical results - 1) the question of the semantic interpretation of term "pornography" is reflected; 2) the expert practice is generalized in Ukraine on this problem; 3) signs are defined and the criteria for classification of the objects to the production of a pornographic nature are developed; 4) terminology and determination in study of art examination of products of pornographic nature is presented, the method of judicial-expert study of art research of pornographic nature is created. A novelty - addressing the differences in the definition of typical classifications pornographic materials, methods of estimation. The effectiveness of the implementation - the systematization approach to solving the expert problems in the study of art.
