Objective: To develop theoretically-informed and methodically tested system of correctional and developmental impact on the mental sphere of the child in violation of needs of the family. Methods of work: theoretical analysis of the problem by literary sources, regulations, experimental study. During the reporting period the following objectives are realized. By: 1) scientific and theoretical background and guidance of correctional and developmental impact on the development of children with intelligence in the family; 2) scientific and theoretical background and guidance of correctional and developmental impact on the development of children with hearing impairment in a family; 3) scientific and theoretical background and guidance of correctional and developmental impact on the development of children with visual impairments in the family. Results of research are presented in manuals that are introduced into the practice of training and education of children with special needs in the family. Projected assumptions about the object of study - improving training and education of children with special needs in inclusive education. Key words: children with special needs, intellectual development, cognitive processes, speech activity, personality, psychological and pedagogical conditions of education.
