The research object are forest plantations of Natural Reserve "Medobory" and their cartographic representation on forest geographic information system. Research goal to develop new approaches for the transfer of forest spatial information attached to the computer form, its implementation in the reserve "Medobory". Research methods. Developments of computer technology allows to modeling and analyze the spatial distribution of forest stands, and the latest GIS technology to provide new means evaluating information about the forest, necessary for the task. Technologies include geographic coding methods scans of maps of forest management, translate them into electronic format of GIS methods. To implement the tasks we used methods of mathematical statistics, forest taxation methods, and at the time the electronic cards deductive method.
