The purpose of the study is to develop the elementary base of the block type power supply source for the SPS installation with higher output current. Based on a pre-designed basic diagram of the power supply module for the installation of spark-plasma sintering allowing to perform the functions of controllable power source in the structure of a block or modular type of the secondary power supply system for the equipment, we proposed the electrical diagram of an improved power circuit of the inverter and rectifier of topology "full bridge with phase control". Also, a computer model has been built and computer simulation of load circuit operation with resistance of linear type for different values of parameters of elements of the power circuit and control signals has been carried out. Computer simulation of operation of the elements of the power circuit of the inverter and rectifier of a power source was made in the circuit simulation software LTspice v4.22. Using the developed computer model of the electrical diagram of the power circuit of the inverter and rectifier, the results are obtained to allow specifying the parameters of individual elements of the power circuit and proceeding to development of the common electrical diagram of the upgraded power circuit of one unit of the power supply source for the SPS installation. The improved electric diagram of the power circuit of one power supply block with higher output current has been developed, the parameters have been chosen and the prototype of the power circuit of the block has been manufactured, which is sufficient to build the overall layout of this block.
