The new data for average magnetic properties of different petrographic groups of rocks obtained, that served as the base material for parameterization of magnetic models. Spatial heterogeneity of the different segments of the Pacific margin magnetic anomaly (РМА), conditioned by the diversity of depth of occurrence, thickness and magnetic susceptibility of individual units, that form the source of anomalies, was determined. Source PMA is limited to depths of 8 - 10 km and consists of a series of nonuniform magnetized plutons with different ages and magnetization.
