A study was devoted to the development of conformationally controlled fluorinated derivatives of homo-GABA as potential ligands for GABA receptors, in particular GABAB type. To assess the conformational profile, a set of tools in silico was used, namely stacking and molecular dynamics along with ab initio fluted homo-GABA frames in an aqueous solution and during binding to the GABAB receptor. In a silicon-conformational analysis, conventional computing devices were used which indicated different conformations for each position of the CF3 substituent in the carbon chain of the synthesized amino acids.
