The main outputs were the following: -design and engineering documentation for containers KC-032, 063, 801 for RAW transportation and storing; -program of RAW management; -engineering scheme of spent ionites extracting and drying;-engineering decision regarding to NPP's RAW remote sorting and to transport means design. Engineering analysis has been performed regading to existing facilities for RAW drying before pressing and to experience of salt float reprocessing. During this stage the mine-and-engineering criteria of high level RAW storage were being elaborated. Subject of the research was concrete geological bodies available for RAW isolating (southern part of Ukrainian shield, Dneprovsko-Donetsky depression, salt mines of north-western Donbass, Krivoy Rog basin). Research were performed according to geological, term ophysical, engineering directions. On the base of synthesis and analysis of data concerning sites assessment and presented complex models it has been made a choice of local geological structues available for RAW underground storage and for pilot laboratories, in accorance with developed engineering requirements to wastes, containers and storage construction and with scheme of geological explorations at these sites. It has been specified a mathematic model of radionuclides distribution in many-layered media by developing special software for decision of relevant equation describing this process.
