A washing device has been developed and tested consisting of two rows of nozzies and a washing pan. The results showed a reduction of washing liquid consumption by 0,1-0,15 m3/t of soda ash and the filter liquor is diluted by 2-3 ND/20 less on an average. Technical grounds were issued to manufacture one more row of nozzles, the technological conditions of the process of nozzle washing of crude sodium bicarbonate residue were defined. The process has been introduced at a plant, protocol of introduction obtained and a working report submitted. Field of application: soda ash plants of Ukraine and CIS.
