ХІХ - ХХ ст. як маловивченої складової народного мистецтва України. З'ясовано закономірності розвитку і згасання етномистецьких традицій, простежено причинно-наслідкові зв'язки й взаємовпливи, що позначились на художніх особливостях творів. Проведено типологічний аналіз творів, визначено традиційні форми, декор та локальні художні особливості. Досліджено алебастровий промисел, як цілісне мистецьке явище зазначеного регіону.
