Derived: the algorithm of computation of endogene intoxication indexis, which was done with the aid of the programme Microsoft Excel. Performed: study of the efficiency of using furazolidone, chloramphenicol, norphloxacine, phthallzole, polymyxine, combination of several antibacterial drugs and antibacterial drugs with sunamole-C in treatment of acute dysentery. Examined: 231 patients. In order to evaluate efficiency of the drugs the following was used: clinical data, dynamics of hematological indices and integrative indices of intoxication. Proved: irrationality of using several antibacterial drugs in the therapy of acute dysentery. Free dynamics of clinical symptoms and intoxication indices was also observed wen the patients were treated with furasolidone, phthallazole, chloramphenicol, and polymyxine. Determined: high efficiency of norphloxacine and sunamole-C with antibacterial drugs.
