The problems of designing of fluid drives with braking of reduced masses, on two orders and more exceeding conventional value, are poorly lighted. The experimental improvement of such systems is considerably moderated at conducting mathematical simulation. The schema and mathematical model of a fluid drive of the link gear of hoisting - downing of a boom for considerable inertia loads is reviewed. On a foundation of simulation the arguments of control devices are selected, which one ensure a set value of speed and time of move at the approach in an end position.
