Показано, що для покриття з твердого сплаву ВК8 збільшення довжини ділянки приводить до адгезійного відшарування. Для запобігання руйнуванню покриття внаслідок адгезійної міцності рекомендовано співвідношення довжини його ділянки до товщини в межах 5 - 7. Тhe method of calculating the beam on the Winckler's elastic base is used. It is shown that under the conditions of hard brittle coating the rise of the element's length can lead to the appearance of the areas with buckling. The best relationship of length and thickness to prevent adhesive failure of the element of discontinuous coating is 5:1-7:1.
