Treatment of 300 working реорІе with II stage of hypertension was analyzed in different regions of Transcarpathia in order to learn the level of antihypertensive therapy, its correspondence with contemporary world and national standards. It was noticed that only 15% of patients are treated adequately, with reaching and supporting the needed arterial pressure with regular dose of contemporary antihypertensive drugs and control of arterial pressure in the background. The main reasons for such unsatisfactory state is inadequate knowledge of hypertonics on main factors of total cardiovascular risk and specific role of arterial hypertension even without any symptoms, on main principles and contemporary approaches to adequate antihypertensive therapy; high prices for contemporary effective drugs with long-term effect and tonometers.
