У даній статті сформульовані проблеми застосування антибактеріальних препаратів як етіотропної терапії при гострих кишкових інфекціях (ГКІ). Поданий якісно-кількісний склад кишкової мікрофлори залежно від віку для врахування критеріїв норми. Висвітлена ефективність використання ентеросорбентів, пре- та пробіотиків при ГКІ, які забезпечують елімінацію збудника та нормалізацію кишкової мікрофлори.
