Features of investment activity of the enterprises of the chemical industry are defined. Existing scientifically-methodical aspects of an economic substantiation of investment projects are generalised. The organizational scheme of management by investment processes at the enterprises of the chemical industry is improved. Scientifically-methodical recommendations about ranging of investment projects on the basis of economic criteria and methodical recommendations about a substantiation of investment needs of the enterprise taking into account features of sources of financing are developed. The scientifically-methodical approach to an estimation of efficiency of the investment project taking into account chain dependence of the enterprises of branch is developed. The conducted approbation of results of research of an economic substantiation of investment projects on an example of the enterprise for manufacture of technical carbon.
