Поскольку в существующей по этому вопросу литературе отсутствует какой-либо глубокий анализ финансовых систем этих стран, данная статья дает всесторонний анализ их банковского сектора, включая собственность, концентрацию, трансграничные связи, финансовую устойчивость и последние тенденции за период 2003-2008 гг. Авторы также указывают на риски финансовой стабильности банковского сектора в контексте глобального кризиса. This paper analyzes the evolution of the banking sector of the Council of the Gulf Cooperation in six countries. As in the existing literature on the subject lacks any deep analysis of the financial systems of these countries, this paper provides a comprehensive analysis of the banking sector, including ownership, concentration, cross-border linkages, financial stability and the latest trends for the period 2003-2008.
