The authors examine distinctions between private social risks insurance and social insurance. Subsidized financing within the social insurance is considered as the main manifestation of insurance principles’ violation. Стаття присвячена вивченню проблем використання принципів страхування у системи соціального страхування на основі поняття соціальних ризиків. Автори досліджують відмінності між приватним страхуванням соціа- льних ризиків та соціальним страхуванням.
