The optimum growth conditions were established by varying various parameters such as pH of gel solution, gel concentration, gel setting time, concentration of reactants etc. Crystals having different morphologies and habits were obtained. The crystals were characterized using Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), UV, and Energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDAX). A result of the UV-Visible spectroscopy confirms nonlinear optical property of the crystals.
