Kulish’s hystoriosophy worldview evolution is discernible in this article. First the pantheistical organizing “farm philosophy” is analyzed throughout the prism of typology descriptions of romanticism. In this “philosophy” the authentic agricultural Ukrainian-peasant life style and the parasitic city habitant’s way of life are contrasted. This stranger appears in the character of foreigner. A sign of the Ukrainian person is his rootedness in the native landscape, people and the space. It becomes firmly established that ground rule of the past to be the sentinel measuring of rootedness idea in P. Kulish’s works. The past is a sphere of the “people’s spirit” active action, which, feeding on the energy of native landscape creates Ukrainian history. This approach shows P. Kulish to be one of that who for the first time in a counterbalance to populist conceptions grounded the role of elite as a subject of national historical process. Later on the positivism disseminations for him were noticed within the limits of all the same romantic historiosophy paradigm. For the standards of scientific character of history P.
