В. Даля. Опис Стаття присвячено пошуку оптимальних шляхів реформування сучасної системи охорони здоров’я України. Виходячи з цього було здійснено порівняння існуючих у світі економічних моделей систем охорони здоров’я, розглянуто можливість їх застосування в Україні, запропоновано в якості одного із варіантів вирішення проблеми недофінансування медичного сектору запровадження обов’язкового медичного страхування. Since gaining independence, Ukraine inherited from the Soviet Union the health care system built on the model Semashko. A retrospective analysis shows that the extensive growth development not contributing to focus on the problems of patients. In the market conditions this model of health care was not viable. Under conditions of constant budget deficits and the lack of effective progress in reforming the health care system there is a significant deterioration in the quality of health care services to the public and health professionals poverty. Given this theoretical search for the optimal conditions for domestic health financing system economic model is a primary importance. The study authors conducted a comparative analysis of the world's major economic models of health care financing, consider their use in Ukraine, proposed transfer the national health system to social insurance principles provided the introduction of mandatory health insurance, based on this consider the possible stages of reform.
