ХІХ ст. Проаналізовано ставлення різних соціальних верств до проституції як професії, до повій та сутенерів як її складових. Локалізовано центри надання сексуальних послуг. Виявлено різницю у сприйнятті будинків розпусти сусідами та іншими миколаївцями. Окремо висвітлена реакція влади на ставлення міщан до питання проституції. В статье исследуется восприятие жителями Николаева института проституции во II пол. XIX в. Проанализировано отношение различных социальных групп к проституции как профессии, к проституткам и сутенерам как ее составляющей. Локализованы центры предоставления сексуальных услуг и выявлены различия в восприятии проституции соседями и другими горожанами. Отдельно освещена реакция власти на взгляды горожан относительно проституции The article explores the relationship residents Nikolaeva prostitution from a moral and ethical point of view.
