It is characterized by having an awareness of one‘s environment and one‘s existence, sensations, and thoughts. It is one of the fundamental basis of our existence. It makes life worth living and it gets one going in life. Consciousness makes life and living life beautiful. Imagine as human beings, that our sense of feeling is dead. A hot object can then be put on our body and we will not be able to feel it at all. That means we have the chances of getting injured almost every time, and there will be scars all over our body.
