A particular attention is paid to the hydrodynamic calculations of flow parts, design and analysis of such structural elements as node balancing thrust and end seals. Also, the drives of centrifugal pumps, the basics of strength calculation, and dynamic stability of the rotor are considered. The book is intended for students of higher educational institutions of III–IV levels of accreditation (it can be used for studying “Theory of Hydraulics”, “Hydraulic Vane Machines”, and “Engineering Design of Pumps”, when writing term papers and theses), for graduate students and postgraduates, for engineering and technical personnel who are engaged in designing centrifugal pump.
